What are your qualifications? Bachelor of Applied Science (Sport and Exercise Science), ZeroW Coach Development Course.
How many years have you been strength training? 15
What are your best sporting achievements? Competing at national level for Powerlifting and overcoming a ruptured pec tendon to win NZPF Nationals 2019 u120kg class. I also have run multiple high level powerlifting meets.
Why do you love training? I love training because it provides a regular challenge that requires me to push myself in order to progress. The resilience and confidence you gain from overcoming these challenges is something that has been a hugely positive influence on my life and I believe can benefit anyone!
What do you specialise in coaching clients for? Powerlifting and strength development is my specialty and passion.
Why do you love coaching? There’s something incredibly rewarding in guiding someone through challenges, seeing their progress, and witnessing those moments when they finally achieve something they once thought was beyond them.
What do you want new clients to know about you? I love getting to know and work with a range of new people who are wanting to reach their strength goals. I’m approachable, results-driven, and passionate about building strength, confidence, and resilience in every client. I believe in open communication, so don’t hesitate to share your goals and expectations.
Why should a new client get coached by you? I understand the importance of foundational strength training, and I tailor each session to my client’s level, gradually progressing as they build confidence and skill. I also highly value community and fostering a supportive environment where people can connect and grow, not just individually but as part of a team.
